Take the opportunity to work one-to-one throwing on the potters wheel, this hands on experience can be tailored to suit a range of abilities but is most useful for beginners.
Through out this session you will learn all of the basic techniques to making on the pottery wheel- which is harder than it looks! Learn how to prepare for making then have fun trying to create a pot of your own.
Each person will get to keep 3-4 of their favourite pieces from their session to be fired and glazed by myself. You can choose from a selection of colours to add an inside pop of colour and otherwise you will have a clean and elegant white pot.
Please note it will take 3-4 weeks before your pieces are fired and ready to be taken home.
Please wear clothing you’re comfortable to work in, clay will easily wash out and you will be provided with clean towels to keep the mess to a minimum... but some people more than others love to get messy! It’s also helpful to take rings/watch/bracelets off as you don’t want them getting full of clay either.
